Pricing and Offer Terms

1. Introduction

These Pricing and Offer Terms ("Terms") govern the pricing, payment, subscriptions, digital products, promotional offers, and other commercial conditions applicable to the Amavit Abacus Platform, including its website, mobile applications, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

These Terms form an integral part of the Platform's Terms of Use and should be read together with the Company's other legal policies and agreements.

2. Free Access

The Platform provides certain features free of charge.

The Company may, at any time and at its sole discretion:

  • introduce new free features;
  • modify existing free functionality;
  • limit or discontinue certain free features;
  • transfer features from the free version to paid offerings or vice versa.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Company is not obligated to provide prior notice of such changes.

3. Paid Features

The Platform may offer paid digital products and services, including but not limited to:

  • Premium subscriptions;
  • ad-free experiences where available;
  • advanced statistics and analytics;
  • additional Homework and training materials;
  • competitions, challenges, tournaments, and other Platform activities;
  • digital certificates;
  • digital educational materials;
  • virtual rewards and cosmetic items;
  • additional educational functionality;
  • future premium digital services introduced by the Company.

Availability of paid features may vary depending on the User's region, Platform version, Account type, or applicable law.

4. Pricing

Prices for paid features and services may vary depending on:

  • the User's country or region;
  • local market conditions;
  • the selected subscription or pricing plan;
  • Account type;
  • available functionality;
  • promotional offers;
  • applicable taxes;
  • other commercial factors.

The Platform may offer paid access to:

  • subscriptions;
  • digital certificates;
  • competitions, challenges, tournaments, and other Platform activities;
  • premium features;
  • digital educational content;
  • other digital products and services.

The actual purchase price, payment currency, applicable taxes, billing terms, and payment conditions will always be presented to the User before completing a purchase.

The Company may use regional pricing, promotional pricing, personalized offers, or pricing experiments (including A/B testing) where permitted by applicable law.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in a specific offer, price changes do not affect subscriptions or services that have already been paid for during the applicable billing period.

The Company does not guarantee that current prices or promotional conditions will remain available in the future.

5. Regional Differences

Prices, available products, payment methods, subscriptions, and promotional offers may differ depending on:

  • country;
  • region;
  • currency;
  • local legal requirements;
  • commercial considerations.

Certain products or services may not be available in every jurisdiction.

6. Taxes

Displayed prices may:

  • include applicable taxes; or
  • exclude applicable taxes,

depending on the User's jurisdiction and applicable legal requirements.

Where required by law, the Company may collect and remit applicable taxes, including VAT, GST, Sales Tax, or similar indirect taxes.

Unless otherwise required by law, Users remain responsible for any local taxes, duties, fees, or governmental charges applicable to their purchases.

7. Promotions and Discounts

The Company may offer:

  • temporary discounts;
  • promotional campaigns;
  • limited-time offers;
  • promotional codes;
  • special regional offers;
  • educational discounts;
  • other marketing incentives.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • promotions cannot be combined;
  • promotional offers may have limited availability;
  • promotional offers may be withdrawn or modified before their scheduled expiration;
  • participation may be limited to selected Users.

8. Offer Limitations

Certain offers may:

  • be available only for a limited time;
  • be available only to selected Users;
  • depend on the User's age, country, region, Account type, or Platform version;
  • require specific eligibility criteria.

The Company reserves the right to determine eligibility for any promotional or commercial offer.

9. Subscription Renewal

Where subscriptions are offered, they may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

Users may manage or cancel recurring subscriptions through:

  • the applicable app store;
  • the payment provider used for the purchase; or
  • other subscription management tools made available by the Platform.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not normally entitle the User to a refund for the current billing period unless required by applicable law.

10. Payment Methods

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including, where available:

  • Apple App Store;
  • Google Play;
  • Stripe;
  • payment card processors;
  • other authorized payment partners.

Available payment methods may vary by country and Platform.

The Company does not store full payment card information unless expressly stated otherwise.

Currency conversion, if applicable, is performed by the User's payment provider or financial institution according to its own terms and exchange rates.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, payment reversals, cancellations, and chargebacks are governed by:

  • the policies of the applicable payment platform;
  • the terms of the payment provider;
  • applicable consumer protection laws.

Where purchases are made through Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests are generally handled by the respective platform according to its policies.

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in a specific offer, the Company does not guarantee refunds.

Digital products, subscriptions, certificates, competitions, and other digital content may become non-refundable once access has been granted or the digital content has been delivered, where permitted by applicable law.

12. Digital Products and License

All paid content available through the Platform consists of digital products or digital services.

Purchasing a subscription, certificate, competition entry, Premium feature, or other digital content does not transfer ownership of the Platform, its software, intellectual property, or digital materials.

Instead, the User receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased digital content in accordance with the Platform's Terms of Use.

13. Changes to these Terms

The Company may update these Pricing and Offer Terms from time to time.

Changes may include:

  • pricing;
  • subscription plans;
  • available features;
  • payment methods;
  • promotional offers;
  • eligibility requirements.

The most current version will always be published on the Platform's website together with its updated Effective Date.

Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Terms, where permitted by applicable law.
