1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Amavit Abacus, including its website, mobile applications, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), collects, uses, stores, protects, and processes personal data.

This Policy also explains the rights available to Users regarding their personal information.

By using the Platform, Users acknowledge that they have read and accepted this Policy.

2. Categories of Personal Data We Process

Depending on the User's role and use of the Platform, we may process:

  • Platform role (such as Child, Parent, or Teacher);
  • Account identifier;
  • subscription information, where applicable;
  • user preferences and settings.

2.2 Educational Data

The Platform may process educational information including:

  • learning progress;
  • completed Homework;
  • exercise and assessment results;
  • educational statistics;
  • achievements and certificates.

2.3 Technical Information

We may collect technical information including:

  • IP address;
  • device identifiers;
  • browser type;
  • operating system;
  • application version;
  • device type;
  • technical logs;
  • security logs.

The Company currently uses Sentry and may use similar error monitoring and diagnostic services.

Such services are used solely to diagnose technical problems and improve Platform stability.

Personal identifiers such as User names, email addresses, or phone numbers are not intentionally transmitted to these services for monitoring purposes.

3. Children's Personal Data

The Platform is intended for use by Children only under the supervision of a Parent, legal guardian, Teacher, or another authorized adult where permitted by applicable law.

Children may not create Accounts independently.

A Child's Account may only be created by:

  • a Parent;
  • a Teacher;
  • another authorized adult User.

Where required by applicable law, Teachers are responsible for obtaining all necessary parental consents before creating or managing a Child's Account.

By creating a Child's Account, the registering User confirms that they have the legal authority to do so.

The Company does not knowingly collect Children's personal data directly without the involvement of Parents, Teachers, or other authorized adult Users.

4. Purposes of Processing

Personal data is processed for purposes including:

  • providing access to the Platform;
  • operating and maintaining the Platform;
  • managing User Accounts;
  • providing Homework and educational content;
  • tracking educational progress;
  • improving Platform quality;
  • providing customer support;
  • sending service notifications;
  • delivering informational and promotional content to Parents where permitted;
  • managing subscriptions and Premium features;
  • preventing fraud and abuse;
  • protecting Platform security;
  • complying with legal obligations;
  • responding to User requests.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the circumstances, personal data is processed based on:

  • User consent;
  • performance of a contract;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • the Company's legitimate interests;
  • protection of the legitimate interests of Users,

in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

Following Account deletion, certain information may be retained where required:

Children may only receive internal educational or motivational content.

The Company does not display third-party personalized advertising to Children.

Parents may be shown advertising or promotional content, including advertisements that support free access to certain Platform features.

Teachers may use the Platform free of charge. Advertising shown to Teachers may be limited or may not be displayed at all.

11. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, Users may:

  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to certain processing activities;
  • withdraw consent;
  • request a copy of their personal data;
