The Amavit Methodology Team develops the mental arithmetic methodology, curricula and digital training tools behind Amavit.
The team brings together mental arithmetic teachers and methodologists with more than 12 years of practical experience teaching children to calculate with a physical and a mental abacus. Over that time we have worked with thousands of students — from their first exercises on a physical abacus to fast mental calculation and Anzan.
Our articles are based on that classroom experience: how children actually learn, where they get stuck, and what helps them move forward. We write for teachers and parents who want to understand not only what to practise, but why it works.
